Southern California Golf Tournament a Success

WICA members met on Monday, March 20th at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club for the first golf tournament of the year. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place on Monday, February 6th, however, due to poor weather conditions the tournament was cancelled and rescheduled to March. Members began the day teeing off at 11am and ending with a reception and awards ceremony in the clubhouse. The first place team, with a score of 63, was Chris Abare of Distribution International, Lon Pilichowski of Armacell, George Gonzola, and Steve Watters of Knauf Insulation. There was a tie for second place, with a score of 65. The two teams consisted of Dustin Hackney, James Lancaster, and Sean Iling with General Insulation and Troy Reyes of Argus and the Bay Insulation Supply team with Sean McMillin, David Trueblood, Mike Trueblood, and JoJo Martinez. The men’s closest to the hole winners were Jim Epps of Distribution International at hole #3, James Lancaster of General Insulation at hole #11, Louis Rendon of Frazer at hole #12, Justin Grannum of Mac Arthur Company at hole #15, and Brandon Davis or Design Polymerics at hole #17. Kelly Sloan the women’s closest to the hole contest at hole #12 and hole #15.
